Borrow & Lend Sessions
A session tracks the lifecycle of a tool request after someone asks to borrow. Requests can be pending, adjusted, declined, accepted, active during checkout, returned, disputed where supported, or closed after the return is complete.

Common Questions
What does pending mean?
The request is waiting for the owner to approve, adjust, or decline it. The owner has 7 days from the moment the request was sent to respond. If nobody answers by then, the request expires and you can ask again. Opening a request does not restart that time.
What does active mean?
The tool has been checked out and the borrow/lend session is underway.
Where do I coordinate pickup?
Use the session message thread so both people keep the same record.
