Planning a project with Bud
The project planner is where Bud helps you work through a job. You can open it from Projects Home with typed text, a supported voice transcript, or an empty prompt. Inside the planner, Bud keeps the conversation scoped to the active project and can ask follow-up questions.

Common Questions
What happens if I open Bud with no text?
Bud still opens and starts with a blank-context greeting so you can decide whether you are starting something new or continuing existing work.
What is Conversation Mode?
Conversation Mode is the Bud voice-input mode with visible idle, listening, processing/responding, stopped, and fallback states where platform support allows it.
Why is the floating Bud button missing in Projects?
Projects is built around the planner, which is itself your conversation with Bud, so the floating button is turned off across the whole Projects area rather than only on the planner screen. On the planner a second button would be a second door into the same place; on the other Projects screens, open the planner when you want to talk to Bud about a project.
