How do I contact the seller?

Open the listing and use Message Owner to reach the seller about the tool, ask questions, and arrange the pickup.

Can I check out or pay in ToolShed Market?

No. ToolBud does not provide checkout, payment, escrow, or shipping. You and the seller coordinate the handoff and payment directly.

What happens after the seller completes the sale?

The seller marks the tool sold and sends you a transfer. When you accept it, ownership moves to you and the tool joins your MyToolBox. You can optionally note what you paid when you accept.

Where does the tool go after I buy it?

Once you accept the transfer, the tool becomes part of your MyToolBox like any tool you own — you can lend it, list it, or manage it from there.

Where can I see tools I've bought?

Your purchases appear under Profile → History → Buy History. A transfer you still need to accept shows up as a pending transfer in MyToolBox, where you accept it to take ownership.

What if I already own a matching tool?

A tool you buy is added to your MyToolBox as its own record when you accept the transfer, even if you already own a similar tool — an ownership transfer is not merged into an existing entry.

Can I shop for new tools through ToolShed Market today?

ToolShed Market lists used tools from neighbors. Shopping for new tools is not part of ToolBud.
