Inbox is the user-facing tab for message threads. Tool threads are created for borrow/lend sessions so you and the other party can coordinate pickup, return, and details. Community-help replies and system updates can also appear as Inbox threads where supported. Inbox has Inbox, Archived, and Deleted views.

Why does Help say Inbox and Messages?

Inbox is the tab and screen name. Messages are the individual threads inside it.

Can I recover a deleted thread?

Restore it from the Deleted tab while it is still there. After that it is hidden from your inbox but kept for dispute reference, then automatically deleted after at least 30 days.

What does Delete Forever do?

Delete Forever removes the thread right away — there is no waiting period, unlike the automatic deletion that follows a normal delete. Content covered by an open legal matter is kept until that matter is resolved; the confirmation tells you so before you commit.

Can I reply to system messages?

No. System threads are informational. Tool and neighbor threads are the places for coordination.
