Borrowing a Tool

Browse tools available in your community from the Borrow tab. When you find something you need, send a borrow request to the owner. They can approve, adjust dates or terms, or decline. Once approved, coordinate pickup and return through the app.

•Request tools you do not actually need

•Ignore messages from the lender

•Return tools late without communicating

•Keep borrowing from the same person without reciprocating

Common Questions

Can I cancel a borrow request?

Yes. You can cancel anytime before the lender initiates checkout. After checkout starts, the session is active and must be completed.

What if the lender adjusts my request?

You will see the adjusted terms and can accept or withdraw your request.
